I have been itching to share these bridal photos for months and months! I took these bridals of Emily at the Space on Southside in Dallas in February. Her wedding was initially planned for March. But then quarantine hit, so the wedding was pushed to July. So for months I’ve been sitting on these gorgeous images just counting down the days until I could share them. Last week was her wedding so today’s the day!!!
Emily told me the vibe she wanted was the scene in the parent trap where Lindsay Lohan goes with her mom to the bridal shoot. If you haven’t seen this iconic scene, stop what you’re doing and go watch it now. This very scene was what made me want to get into photographing weddings when I was little. I distinctly remember how glamorous I thought the whole thing was. It was so serendipitous that that’s what Emily envisioned.
The space has massive ceilings and huge windows which create the perfect natural light. All the walls are white, which give a perfect clean backdrop- great for any type of photo shoot. And there are so many different props to use, from velvet couches, to wooden chairs, to lots of real plants (that somehow look better than mine despite them living in a studio…)
