Cheesman Park is one of my favorite locations in Denver for engagement photos. I just love the gorgeous columns and the sunset lighting here is beautiful! In the Spring there are tons of flowers and gorgeous grounds.

How to take photos at Cheesman Park
For groups under 5 persons no photo permit or fee is needed. If you do have a group of more than 5 you’ll need to obtain a Denver Parks and Rec Photo permit. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I will take care of securing all permits for your engagement session!
When to schedule your engagement session at Cheesman Park
Expect the park to be super busy on the weekends. I highly recommend scheduling your session on a weekday! I personally love this location at sunset when the sun sets behind the mountains, but sunrise is nice as well (and a lot less crowded!)
How accessible is Cheesman Park?
The park is super accessible and flat. To walk from the street parking area to the pavillion will take about 5-10 minutes.
