Weddings

The first time I “met” Shannon and Jake was way back in May of 2021 on a Zoom call. From that first initial inquiry I knew I had to photograph these two’s wedding. Even from a virtual meeting it was so clear how much these two loved and respected each other.

Fast forward to October of 2021 and I finally got to meet them in person. I photographed their Fall engagement session and had an absolute blast, wedding day couldn’t come soon enough!!

Finally it was August and time for their wedding day at Wedgewood Boulder Creek. The day was absolutely perfect. From the weather to their first look to their joy filled first dance, these two were smiling ear to ear the whole day.

The Story

How did y’all meet?

“We met freshman year of college at Miami University in Ohio (almost 10 years ago!!). After college we moved to Colorado so Shannon could go to law school and fell in love with Boulder. We love our very “typical” Colorado lifestyle–lots of skiing, hiking, camping, climbing, but also enjoying our downtime with reading and game nights.”

The Proposal

“Jake proposed in Breckenridge on Christmas Eve 2020 while on a snowy walk with our dog, Finn. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else!”
