A guide to having an Ashley Ridge Wedding

Ashley Ridge is a wedding venue conveniently located just south of Denver near Highlands Ranch. This venue is a part of Wedgewood Weddings, which offers an all-inclusive experience, perfect for folks that want to limit their wedding decision making. Things that are included in those packages are florals, DJ services, planning or wedding day of coordination and invitations.

Getting Ready

Most weddings at Ashley Ridge include 5-6 hours of coverage, plus set up time, which means you’ll likely need to start getting ready off-site. However, the getting ready space at Ashley Ridge is absolutely gorgeous and spacious, so you’ll be able to get gorgeous finishing touches photos on site. The space is perfect for hanging out and lounging in between events or before the day fully begins.

Ceremony

Ceremonies can be held in a few different locations, outdoors facing towards the mountains or towards the pergola or indoors. I’d actually recommend the pergola facing direction since the mountains aren’t super visible except on a perfectly clear day.

There is plenty of space for up to 300 guests, which makes this an ideal venue for large weddings.

Photo Locations

There are tons of locations around the property for great couples photos, however if you want a true natural feel to your images, I’d recommend venturing off-site for some of your pictures.

Luckily there are so many gorgeous parks nearby, so if you’re wanting some more greenery in your wedding photos, that is definitely still possible with this venue!

Reception

Receptions are held in the massive ballroom. This ballroom has some of the best natural light I’ve ever seen thanks to gorgeous floor to ceiling windows.

The space is truly massive, which prevents large weddings from feeling cramped or overwhelming. The ability to have the dance floor in the center of the room allows for tons of movement.
