A tour of a Wedgewood Black Forest Wedding
Getting Ready
Wedgewood Black Forest has a maximum of 6 hours of venue coverage, which means you will likely get ready off site. However, the main getting ready suite is spacious with tons of light, which will be a wonderful backdrop for getting into your wedding attire and portraits.
Ceremony
There are two different ceremony options. The first (and my personal favorite) is the outdoor forest view location. This spot has a beautiful wood gazebo at the altar and a view of stunning green pine trees. The indoor ceremony location is still beautiful and a great option in the event of inclement weather. It features high ceilings and twinkly chandeliers.
Reception
The reception space at Wedgewood Black Forest is super large. There are high ceilings and tons of space for up to 300 guests. Depending on the tier you select, a lot of the accessories, linens and even flowers will be included in your fee.
Photo Locations
The wooded area behind this Colorado Springs wedding venue is stunning and has the most beautiful golden light. Because there is so much shade it also is a great spot for portraits throughout the day. Another option is at the ceremony site in front of the wooden altar.
Why you should have a Wedgewood Black Forest Wedding
- Close to Colorado Springs. This venue is minutes from Colorado Springs, making it a breeze to access, find lodging and explore.
- Indoor ceremony site. This should be such a huge factor in venue selection! In the event of bad weather it is so great to have a nice indoor option. And the staff is super accommodating, so if weather shows up unexpectedly, they can do a swap for indoors with ease.
- All inclusive nature. Wedgewood is a large wedding company with venues all across Colorado. Something that sets them apart is their ability to do all inclusive. With the elite package you get a DJ, florist, officiant, catering, day of coordinator, photo booth, cold touch sparklers, lighting, linens, tables and invitations– this takes a lot of the stress and planning away, which some couples really love!
