Getting Ready
Getting ready at the Oxford Hotel is a breeze, because you will most likely be staying on site! The rooms are spacious and airy, with plenty of natural light for getting ready portraits.
Ceremony
Ceremonies are held in the main ballroom (240 person capacity) However, all weddings I’ve photographed have chosen to have their ceremony at a church nearby.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is held in the Sage Room off of the lobby. The room is spacious and airy with tons of natural light, seating and room for your guests to mingle.
Reception
Receptions are held upstairs in their main ballroom. The reception space at the Oxford Hotel is truly a blank canvas– no matter your wedding vision or aesthetic, you will be able to create a magical space.
Photo Locations
Taking portraits at the Oxford Hotel is such a treat! There are several locations within walking distance from the hotel– Union Station, several courthouses, and of course just the surrounding streets. The interior of the hotel also makes for some stunning portraits.

- The upscale, timeless feel. The Oxford Hotel doesn’t feel like a traditional, cheesy hotel wedding venue. There are no awful carpets or decor, it feels very swanky and photographs lovely.
- The ability to get ready and stay on site. This is such an underrated perk! There is truly nothing better than getting ready on site. And the fact that you and your guests can party and then walk straight to the elevator at the end of the night, unbeatable!
