The Manor House is a southern style mansion and one of Colorado’s oldest wedding venues. It is located in the small town of Littleton, a suburb right outside Denver. It was built in 1914 by a Denver newspaper tycoon, John Charles Shaffer. The venue hosted many notable special guests, including Theodore Roosevelt! It is now a gorgeous, airy wedding venue perched on a hill, overlooking Denver.
The Manor House and its 6 sprawling acres can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests. You really receive the best of both worlds when it comes to views, either the beautiful Rocky Mountains or the Denver skyline. Couples can choose an indoor ceremony in front of a beautiful, real fireplace or outdoors with the mountains as a backdrop. Whatever you choose, it will surely be a showstopper!

The Manor House sits on a large piece of property up on a hill, meaning your wedding venue feels incredibly private and exclusive. There are 360 views
There are two large getting ready suites at the Manor House. The first is the largest and spans nearly the entire top floor of the manor. There is tons of space and natural lighting making it a great spot for getting ready photos.
If you want to do makeup on-site, consider booking the Kent Cottage which allows a 9am check-in.
The second getting ready space is in the basement and while a little smaller and darker, still has plenty of space to get ready.
Ceremonies at the Manor House are typically held on the lawn which features beautiful views of the downtown skyline, front range and even the red rocks! My favorite time of year is fall when all the trees are bursting with color!
Cocktail Hour can be held throughout the entirety of the manor, including the sunroom where the bar is located, the inner foyer and outdoors. There is tons of space to spread out and relax.
Receptions are held in the Manor House’s massive reception space. The ceilings are super tall and there are tons of windows, creating lots of natural light. One of my favorite features? The working fireplace which makes the space feel so cozy!!
The Manor House is truly one of my favorite venues in Colorado. Why? Look at all these photo locations! You can get beautiful rolling foothills, fall colors, lawn view and in front of the actual manor. You’ll have so much variety in your wedding photos.
