This was such a fun engagement session with Ashlynn and Brandon! These two are from Texas originally, they even went to UT (hook ’em!!) But now live in Colorado and wanted to have their engagement session reflect their new home.
We met up at Chautauqua Park at the crack of dawn (the moon was still in the sky!) I love this location in the morning, it’s completely empty and the light hits the Flatirons just perfectly. It does get a little harsh pretty quickly, usually 30 minutes after sunset and it’s time to go!
Then we moved on to a little overlook. The light was suuuuper harsh on the actual overlook, but some of my favorite photos were just in the parking lot. Proof that good lighting is EVERYTHING! We finished the session with a good ol’ champagne pop, nothing like champagne at 7am!
