Absolutely loved photographing this gorgeous March engagement session. March is notoriously a lackluster month for photos– nothing has quite bloomed yet, snow has started to melt and the trees are usually quite bare. But this location in Boulder is such a perfect spot for photos. The trees in the distance are always green to provide a pop of color and the mountain backdrop is always epic. There is so much space to spread out that we can experiment with a variety of poses and prompts to really show off the personality and vibe of my couple.
This session with Analisa and Lacoster was wonderful from start to finish. We began at Chautauqua where the couple had a stunning western inspired look, denim on denim for Analisa and color blocked sweater with an epic belt for Lacoster. After frolicking in the open field we finished our session at a special lookout for blue hour. The sun had already set by the time we made it up the mountain, so these photos were just a bonus. But they featured the gorgeous twinkling lights of Boulder and the epic mountains of the Front Range.
