A guide to having a Perry Mansfield wedding
Perry Mansfield is located in Steamboat Springs (one of my favorite Colorado mountain getaways!) Steamboat Springs is about 3 hours from Denver but it has so much fun stuff to do and accomodations, it’s the perfect location for a Colorado wedding.
This venue is a camp style venue and it’s definitely my favorite of the ones I’ve photographed! The reception space is absolutely stunning.

Pricing at Perry Mansfield is super dependent on what areas you rent– so your best bet is to email them directly!
I did find a brochure that had listed a Friday noon through Monday noon campus buyout at $15,000.

Getting Ready
Getting ready is super easy at the Barn at Howard Creek Farm since there are two massive getting ready areas on site. The first is the small barn which has an entire floor to use. There is tons of natural light and space to spread out. The other getting ready space is the silo which is just on the other side of the main barn.
Ceremony
Ceremonies at Perry Mansfield are typically held in their aspen grove– right near the main cottages. This spot is especially gorgeous in the fall when the leaves change!
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail Hour is frequently held around the Steinberg Pavillion. There are gorgeous mountain views and plenty of space for all your guests to socialize and hangout. This spot is about a 10 minute walk from the Aspen Grove.
Reception
The real showstopper at Perry Mansfield is the 2,200 square foot reception space, The Steinberg Pavillion. This space is nearly all windows making it such a cool and unique building.
There is plenty of room for all your guests to tear it up on the dancefloor.
Photo Locations
There are so many gorgeous backdrops for photos at Perry Mansfield. From the gorgeous aspen grove, to in front of the Steinberg Pavillion, to the rustic mountain views– your photo gallery will be truly diverse if your wedding day is at Perry Mansfield.
Things to consider when choosing a Colorado wedding venue:
- What is the rain backup plan? In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies can be held inside the Steinberg Pavilion– this is a great option because it can be flipped quickly and has tons of natural light, making it a great backup plan for unpredictable Colorado weather.
- Can you stay onsite? In my opinion, the biggest perk of Perry Mansfield is the ability to not just stay on site but also to stay on site the whole weekend. Who wouldn’t want to just relax with all your friends and family before your wedding day>
- Are there good photo spots? There are so many wonderful photo opportunities at Perry Mansfield. And if you’re wanting great fall colors– this might be the spot for you!!
