Getting Ready
One of my favorite things about hotel wedding venues is the option to stay and get ready on site. The Maven Hotel offers 172 gorgeous rooms, meaning there is space for all of your guests to stay on site if they choose.
The rooms are all spacious with plenty of natural light, making getting ready a breeze!
Ceremony
Ceremonies at the Maven Hotel can either be held indoors in the reception/ballroom or outdoors in the alley. Both options are gorgeous and really show off the personality of the venue!
Note: If you do choose an indoor option, make sure your photographer is well versed in photographing low light venues since this space can be a little dark!
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour can be held in a couple different spots including the alleyway and the polka lounge. There is an option to put a bar outdoors in the alleyway, making it a great spot for guests to mingle and interact throughout the night.
The Polka Lounge is right across from the reception space and has an awesome speakeasy style.
Reception
Receptions are held in the massive ballroom. There are large windows on the back section of the space that can be opened to allow tons of natural light and fresh air. The space feels like a blank canvas allowing you to style it with whatever decor you’d like, while still having lots of character in the brick walls and lighting fixtures.
Photo Locations
There are SO many photo locations at The Maven Hotel! You have the alleyway with cool graffiti and art, the balconies inside your hotel room, the ceremony/reception space and all around the hotel with cool streets and alleys.
One thing to keep in mind with the Maven Hotel is there will likely be a good amount of people around, so your photo spots probably won’t be super private and will have people in them. But that creates a really fun energy with people cheering and hyping you up.

Things to consider when choosing a Colorado wedding venue:
- What is the rain backup plan? Luckily this venue has a beautiful indoor ceremony site. There is so much character while still being a blank canvas for whatever your vision!
- Can you stay onsite? This hotel can accomodate you and all your guests, which makes getting ready (and leaving the party) a breeze!
- Are there good photo spots? There are so many wonderful photo opportunities at the Maven Hotel! If you’re wanting fun, colorful wedding photos– this might be the venue for you!!
