Getting Ready
Getting ready at the JW Marriott is a breeze, because you will most likely be staying on site! The rooms are spacious and airy, with plenty of natural light for getting ready portraits.
Ceremony
Ceremonies can be held either in the main ballroom (200 person capacity) or on the outdoor terrace (120 person capacity). The indoor ballroom is beautiful with simple clean lines allowing your vision to fully come to life. Every wall and ceiling is white, which is a photographers dream! It is one of my favorite indoor ceremony spaces in Denver.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is held on the ground floor outdoors and right outside the reception making it super easy for guests to mingle and then enter the reception. The space is a little tight, so if you’re having the max capacity of 200 guests, keep in mind there’s not much lounging room.
Reception
Receptions are held in the indoor, outdoor space and is truly unique! There are beautiful glass walls which makes the space feel open and inviting. There is the perfect sized dance floor, large enough to not feel cramped but not too large that people feel uncomfy dancing!
Photo Locations
Portraits at the JW Marriott Cherry Creek will most likely be outdoors amongst the shops of Cherry Creek. There are tons of great spots. If you’re not wanting to venture outside of the hotel, you can use the outdoor terrace for portraits and the cool lounge spaces.
Why you should have a JW Marriott Cherry Creek Wedding
- Right in the heart of Denver. The JW Marriott could not be more conveniently located. It will be a breeze for your guests to stay so close to the city center.
- The upscale feel. The JW Marriott doesn’t feel like a traditional, cheesy hotel wedding venue. There are no awful carpets or decor, it feels very swanky and photographs lovely.
- The ability to get ready and stay on site. This is such an underrated perk! There is truly nothing better than getting ready on site. And the fact that you and your guests can party and then walk straight to the elevator at the end of the night, unbeatable!
