The Woodlands Colorado is an incredible wedding venue located just 30 minutes outside of Denver in Morrison, Colorado. The venue is family owned and operated and is situated on 52 beautiful acres in the Colorado foothills. Woodlands is an all white barn, with stunning black accents and trim. The lighting in this venue is absolutely unbeatable. The barn features two massive sliding barn doors that show off the gorgeous mountain views and pine trees. There are two different getting ready suites on site.

The Getting Ready Suites
A great feature of the Woodlands Morrison is the getting ready suites on site. The main suite is off the barn in a private cottage. This new addition creates a much more private setting and reduces the risk of the couple seeing each other. Both getting ready suites are beautifully lit and spacious. Both suites have TVs and large windows. One suite, typically for grooms, has a full length pool table.
The Ceremony Space
For ceremonies, The Woodlands Morrison boasts a gorgeous outdoor site with views of rolling hills and lush pine trees. It is right behind the main barn venue, so transitioning is a breeze. The main barn doors can open to reveal the ceremony site, it is truly spectacular.
Cocktail Hour
For cocktail hour, guests can mingle outside and enjoy many different lounging spaces. There is cornhole down a small hill, perfect for kids to escape to. A massive patio wraps around one entire side of the barn, the patio has large heaters which make the Woodlands Morrison a fantastic option for summer and winter weddings.
Wedding Photo Locations
There are lots of great spots to take wedding photos at the Woodlands Morrison. You can get photos outside the iconic white barn or in amongst the gorgeous pine trees. My favorite spot is just a quick walk to a rocky ledge which shows off the beautiful Colorado foothills.
The Reception Space
One of my favorite parts about the Woodlands Morrison is the spectacular reception space. The venue has massive white ceilings and tons of windows which create such beautiful natural light. The space is large enough for 200-245 guests, depending on the time of year. There is also an in house sound system which can be utilized by professional DJs.
