I have tried countless different CRMs. I tried Honeybook, Sprout Studio, 17Hats and Tave. And have come to the conclusion that Dubsado is the best CRM for photographers and creatives. I have been using Dubsado exclusively for over a year now for my wedding photography business and I truly don’t know how I ran my business before.
Here are my favorite features and reasons for why I chose Dubsado.
Dubsado allows you to create a contact form that goes straight onto your website. One of my favorite things about Dubsado’s contact forms is they don’t slow down your page. I have many friends that use other CRMs and their forms greatly slow down the page. I also love that the fields will auto-populate into the back end of Dubsado. So when people fill out their names it creates a new project with their names, dates, locations, and any other fields I have created.
Dubsado’s workflows is maybe my favorite feature. There are so many different options and flexibility. For me I have lots of check-in emails for my couples. Dubsado allows me to either automate or send me a reminder when those emails are supposed to be sent, so I never have to keep track or forget an email again!
It has never been easier to send proposals or request information from clients. With Dubsado’s customizable questionnaires I can gather helpful information before a wedding day. Before I would send them a link, google doc or PDF. Couples can now save and return to their questionnaire and I can see all updates. Proposals are also fantastic because it automatically generates an invoice and contract from the packages they choose. It’s an incredibly professional and seamless way to have clients choose from a list of offerings and pay with ease.
I love that I can see all correspondences between clients in the email tab. I don’t have to worry about flagging or moving into folders or accidentally deleting messages. They’re all there to refer back on!
Another great thing about Dubsado’s emails is how great they look! I can upload my logo and signature into Dubsado so all my emails look professional and branded.
The Dashboard is a great way to see an overview of my business. I have a rolling calendar to see appointments easily, a task list to keep track of things I need to do, finances and missed payments or workflow actions. This way I don’t have to check each individual project. It’s incredibly user friendly and simple!
