Unique Colorado Wedding Venues Near Denver
Lyons Riverbend
Lyons River bend is one of my favorite unique Colorado wedding venues. It is situated right on the Vrain river and has beautiful views of this cliff coming right off the water. It is mainly an outdoor wedding venue but does have an included white tent for receptions.
Distance from Denver: 1 hour
Pricing: Starting at $9,000 for a Saturday
Capacity: 200
Indoor Ceremony Option: No
Ceremony Mountain View: Kind of
Lodging on Site: Yes (the tiny homes on property can be rented)
Garden of the Gods is truly one of the most unique wedding venues in Colorado– where else can you get married with a backdrop of these stunning red rock formations right behind you. It’s a breathtaking venue that will wow all your guests.
Distance from Denver: 1 hour
Pricing: $140-$250 per person + space rental fee, expect a starting range of around $10,000 and upwards of $50,000.
Capacity: 250-325 people depending on ceremony site
Tapestry House is a super unique wedding venue because it’s a historic Victorian Mansion. This venue is located in Fort Collins, about an hour and 15 minutes from Denver. If you’re a history buff (like me!) Tapestry House might be a cool venue for your upcoming wedding. It’s also a Wedgewood property which means prices are all-inclusive so you get a bang for your buck!
Distance from Denver: 1 hour 15 minutes
Pricing: $4,790 venue & ceremony fee; $124/ per person for a Saturday wedding
Colorado Mountain Wedding Venues Outside of Denver
Surf Hotel
Surf Hotel is one of my favorite Colorado hotel wedding venues. It is swanky and cool and super unique. This venue is located in Buena Vista, about 2.5 hours from Denver. Buena Vista is a really cool mountain town with lots of things to do and see.
Distance from Denver: 2.5 hours
Pricing: $10,000 rental fee; $20,000 food and beverage minimum
Sprague Lake is a super unique Colorado wedding venue. It’s located within Rocky Mountain National Park so provides some of the the most stunning views in all of Colorado. Having a wedding in an solely outdoor location does pose the risks of inclement weather, but with high risk comes high reward.
