Ryann reached out to me February of this year about photographing her intimate elopement. These two wanted their day to be stress-free, sentimental and all about them (and their pup Thor). They chose to elope at a beautiful park outside Denver with just a few of their closest family members.
A few weeks before wedding day I had to send the dreaded inclement weather email. There was about a 60% chance of rain on their day and since it was an outdoor elopement, there wasn’t many options for alternative, indoor locations. As the day drew nearer our forecast started to look better and better. Come wedding day we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. It was a beautiful 65 degrees with the brightest blue sky. These two absolutely lucked out– I was so happy for them and the turn of events.
The Inside Scoop
How did y’all meet?
“Sean and I met in college at the University of Colorado Boulder! This is one of our favorite stories. The first night we met, we were with mutual friends and Sean bought me a margarita that night. I venmoed him for the $5 drink the next day 😀 a few years later after seeing each other here and there, we reconnected over Snapchat and went on our first official date, and the rest is history.”
Tell me about the proposal!
“Sean proposed in a beautiful park in Highlands Ranch. All of our family and close friends were hiding in the bushes and celebrating with us right after the proposal. It was so amazing!”
What are you most looking forward to about being married?
“I think it is the little things we are looking forward to. Someone ALWAYS being there for you, wanting to be there for you, giving you compliments no matter what, and so much more. We can’t wait to also start our own family (but won’t be happening anytime soon lol). Also, I can’t wait to be The Alarid’s :)”
