The Garden of the Gods Resort is one of my favorite wedding venues in Colorado. It is located in Colorado Springs, about 45 minutes from Denver. The Resort is situated right above the iconic Garden of the Gods park, which is known for its breathtaking rock formations towering into the sky. And if that weren’t enough, the resort boasts fantastic views of the Colorado mountains, including the incredible Pikes Peak. In this guide I’ll walk you through some important details about having a wedding at the Garden of the Gods– including pricing, accomodations, and images of some of my favorite spots at the resort.
If you are getting married at the Garden of the Gods Resort, I’d love to be your photographer! Send me a message and let’s chat about your vision!

There are two main options available for getting ready at the Garden of the Gods. The first is one of the onsite guest rooms. Some of these rooms have beautiful views of the Garden of the Gods Park. These rooms are beautiful and spacious. If you’re wanting something with a little more room, consider one of the Casitas, just a short walk from the main hotel, this small little neighborhood has modern homes that you can also rent.
There are a couple ceremony sites, depending on the size of your guest list. But the most popular is Reflection Pool. This is truly the best view in all of Colorado Springs. It features a beautifully manicured lawn, views of the red rock formations and the majestic, Pikes Peak. The occupancy for this ceremony site is 250 people. Chairs are included.
There are also multiple reception spaces depending on your needs. There are several that are both indoor and outdoor, which allow the beauty of the outdoors with the weather assurance of having an indoor reception.
There are several beautiful spots around the Garden of the Gods Resort for wedding photos. My favorite is right near the Reflection Pool, which creates such a unique and creative image. Depending on your timeline, we can also venture down to the Garden of the Gods Park, but keep in mind this location is quite busy during the weekend. If you do choose to do portraits there, I recommend having someone drop us off, so we don’t have to worry about parking.
