Elizabeth and Micah’s June wedding at (my favorite venue) The Oaks at Plum creek was such a gorgeous day. Everything was so lush and green and the couple was so intentional and present. Elizabeth and Micah chose to do a first touch instead of a first look, which meant they saw each other for the first time down the aisle. Micah’s face as Elizabeth walked down the aisle was so sweet. One of my favorite elements of their day was their new last name’s marquee on the dance floor, it made such a great backdrop for their first dance.
We “met” about 4 years ago at church…but it took Micah about three years longer to say hi and strike up a conversation so we aaaaactually “met” at a church game night where El kept making Micah “draw 4” in Uno.
Micah had planned to ask El on an evening hike in the bluffs in Lone Tree, which didn’t quite go as planned. We went to hit golf balls beforehand and Micah’s stomach decided he wanted nachos… this took a little longer than expected and the evening hike turned into a starlit hike with Nugget carrying the ring up the bluffs in a little pink backpack. Micah told El to grab her a treat out of Nugget’s backpack and found a massive diamond instead!
