Ever since college I have been obsessed with coffee shops. I just love the buzz of energy (from the coffee and the setting), I love the clanking of ceramics and the buzzing of milk frothers. I have spent many a time at coffee shops all around the world, but here is my list of the best coffee shops in Denver.

Best Coffee Shops by Neighborhood in Denver

Sunnyside and The Highlands

Huckleberry Roasters is was founded in 2011 by two friends. They have fantastic scones, soups and their mocha is amazing. They also sell their coffee in bagged blends, perfectly named, HUCK.

Black Eye Coffee has a unique, vintage feel with exposed brick and neon signs. They offer coffee (duh) but also wine and beer. Black Eye Coffee has one of the strongest and most delicious cold brews in all of Denver!

Blue Sparrow Roasters is an incredibly aesthetically pleasing coffee shop, it is bright and vibrant. The folks at Blue Sparrow rotate their coffee selection every couple of weeks to focus on a new, unique roaster. These roasters cover the globe, from Oklahoma to Ireland to locally roasted in Colorado– if you want to try something different, Blue Sparrow is for you!

LoDo and RiNo

Crema Coffee is a small, eclectic coffee shop that has one of my favorite house espressos in Denver. Not only do they have great coffee, but their food is delicious! (Make sure to try the sweet potato fries!)

Little Owl Coffee is a tiny little coffee shop close to Union Station. They have a delicious s’mores latte. They also have one of my favorite desserts in all of Denver, their donuts! Trust me, you must try the donuts!

Capital Hill

Hudson Hill is an awesome coffee shop with comfy couches and plenty of space and plants everywhere. Not only do they offer delicious coffee but absolutely delicious cocktails. You really can spend all day at Hudson Hill.

Drip Denver is one of the most spacious coffee shops on the list. This is a great place to come for a cozy vibe if you want to chat with friends or get some work done. My favorite thing here is actually their chai!
