I had such a great time at Haley and Ryan’s wedding last week at the Aristide Mansfield. It was a Sunday morning wedding and by 10am it was already hot. The Aristide Mansfield is a gorgeous wedding venue, with rock and ivy covering the entirety. It was great because we were able to do photos behind the shade of the structure. Gotta keeps folks in the shade as long as possible, especially in this Texas heat!

Seeing Haley in her getting ready suite felt like seeing an old friend, she is so welcoming and friendly and bubbly– truly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I felt so welcome and at ease with her and Ryan’s family, it’s evident they were raised by some fantastic people. One of my favorite parts of the day was Haley’s first look with her bridesmaids. You can tell these two have such a great support system. They will definitely have a fantastic group of people rooting for them throughout their marriage.

Haley and Ryan chose not to do a first look, but instead a prayer together and personal vows. I love the idea of doing something intimate and special, even if it means not seeing each other. (Though getting them in and out of their dressing rooms, down one little hallway and behind a pillar without seeing one another or their guests seeing them was an undertaking, but one I’d gladly do again and again.)

Throughout the day it was clear how much love Ryan and Haley have for each other. Haley was giddy the whole day and Ryan had the biggest smile on his face every time he saw her, but I mean look at her, she is freakin’ gorgeous!!
